I can't believe after all the chicks I have raised, that I still get a thrill from that "first egg".
One of our budgie pairs laid their first egg yesterday. I was so excited I had my husband come look. I only set up 2 pairs of budgies this time. I want to get more of the fancy colors before I get too caried away. But I wanted a few babies to offer for sale with our cockatiels for Christmas.
Speaking of cockatiels. I have 5 pairs on eggs. There should be some hatching soon. I forgot to write down when the first egg was laid.
I'm still looking for a female lovebird.
